On the 9th May 1908 the first rugby league test match between a fully professional Australian team and a visiting international side was held at the Royal Agricultural Ground (Sydney Showground). Watched by a hearty crowd of over 20,000, Australia took on the New Zealand 'All Golds' who were returning from a successful tour in England - they did so in this jersey.
